If you have a Galaxy Mini running Android 2.3.3/4 and SuperOneClick is not working out for you in trying to root your device, there still is a way to get that done. It’s not exactly the one click solution you would have hoped for, but this still will not make you rip the hair off your head. The method and files used were originally meant for the Galaxy Ace, but apparently it works just fine for the Galaxy Mini as well.

- To begin, download the root file from the link above and copy it to the root of your SD card.
- Next, power off the device and reboot the device into recovery mode. (Hold the Power button andMiddle Menu button together to start in recovery mode.)
- Once in recovery, using the volume buttons navigate to update from SD card.
- Select the file you copied to the SD card to begin the flashing.
- Once the file is flashed, simply reboot your device.
Once the phone reboots, you should now see the SuperUser app installed. Download Root Checker from the Android Market to verify that root access was successfully achieved.
